The Irish Times is on the hunt for Ireland’s nicest neck-of-the-woods and invites anyone to nominate their favourite. It can be a town or suburb, a tiny village or remote rural spot, a tiny community halfway up a mountain, a street, road or housing estate. It can be anywhere that, despite all the problems our little nation is going through, you feel supremely lucky to have landed in. The reason could be the great neighbours, the social life, the scenery, the great facilities or none or all of these.
